We find these Warming Shelves to be very interesting. Both in functionality as well as ornamental appeal. Manufactured by the BRIDGE BEACH & Co. Foundry.
Most likely these were originally mounted on a wood cook stove. Attached to the vertical backsplash of the stove, a couple of feet above the stove’s cooking surface.
These photos were sent to us by Mary Morris who is seeking more information. She indicates she purchased an old house built in 1886 and these warming shelves where found in the house.
If you have any information as to what year these may have been manufactured, additional photos (especially of a wood stove with these mounted), copies of catalog pages, current worth, etc. we encourage you to share that information with us.
Please find our email on our CONTACT US page. We would love to show more information.
